A Beautiful Rainbow Rose

If I were a rose…
What rose I would be?

A beautiful rainbow rose of multi-color,
A universal symbol of love so free
To bloom and blossom at anytime and anywhere.

I would be the essence of your life;
An essential part of your being;
Your reason for existing.
Without my love,
You would simply wither and die.

I would be the beauty all around you. 
Especially when you gazed at my many colors
So pure and true.
Your eyes,
The windows to your soul,
They would melt each petal 
Straight to the heart of this beautiful rose
With one glimpse,
One glance inside.

But like the perfect rose,
No thorns would infest my vines
Nor would love fade and die.
It would forever stay fresh and new 
And oh so beautiful
Like you.
With a beautiful rainbow rose,
I give to you of myself;
An intimate expression of love so true and tender.

I want to celebrate love 
With something elegant
And unique as you;
To say more 
Than a touch, a look or a kiss could ever do.

I want you to know,
I will love you
Forever and always.
And like a rainbow rose…
Blending its many hues of color,
Let us join our hearts and souls,
Our flesh and spirits together,
With one single rose.

Let it draw us into 
Its colorful hues,
As the boundaries of our separate selves
Fall away…
Let life make love with life,
Passionately blending as one.
Let the colors collide
And explode
Into a beautiful… 
Rainbow rose.
